..දෙපස සුදු දද නඟන
නිමල සුදු වැලි ඉසින
මහ මගින පෙරහරින
ඇය රැගෙන අපි ගියෙමු ..
..ඈත අහසේ ඉහළ
සුදු වලා පෙළ ගැසිණ ..
...ඇයගෙ නව කුටිය මත
තුඟු විසල් කුඹ ටැඹින්
නැගුනු සුදු දුම් රොටුව
සාන්තව ඉහළ නැග
ඒ වලාකුළු අතර
අතුරුදන් වී ගියෙය...
..දැඩි හිරු රැසින් මිරිකෙන්නට පෙර නිවෙන
පිණි බිඳුවක් ලෙසට ඔබ අහසට නැගින...

වැවට කළුවර යා වුනා
සංසාර දුක බෝවුනා
නෙලූ මල් මිට ඉහිරුණා
එහා ඉවුරට පා වුනා
